Our park is unique because it wasn’t built on flat ground – its paths and steps were, at the end of the 19th century, directly carved into living rock and karstic formations.
Stroll through this natural labyrinth that, at every turn, celebrates the unbreakable bond between Dalmatian stone and human endeavor.
This green gem was created as an elegant park during the Austro-Hungarian administration, combining the European fashion of the time with the wildness of our karst landscape.
Today, it is our favorite oasis where indigenous pines and hackberry trees preserve the peaceful history of old Vrgorac.
